Operations Policy

YarnMerchant.com is an online service for yarn retailers who operate “bricks and mortar” local yarn shops. Our goal is to provide these merchants with discount merchandise from the Yarnmarket.com inventory so they may better serve their customers by quickly obtaining yarns and other yarn-related books, patterns, tools and accessories they do not have within their own inventory. YarnMerchant.com will not sell merchandise to retail customers. In order to respect the relationship that a local yarn shop has with its customers, YarnMerchant.com will never request that a store provide information about their customers. Additionally, all orders will be shipped to the retail store and not to their customer. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the retailer. Shipping alternatives and fees (billed at cost) for each order will be provided at the time of purchase. YarnMerchant.com reserves the right to accept or deny any application.

Return Policy

YarnMerchant.com will accept returns of merchandise in perfect condition for re-sale. Credit will be issued only upon receipt of the returned merchandise. Any returned merchandise must be accompanied by a Return Authorization Number. (This number may be obtained by contacting YarnMerchant.com at 1-888-996-9276.) It is the responsibility of the store returning the merchandise to cover the cost of return shipment.

Revocation of Buying Privileges

YarnMerchant.com operates on good faith to support the goals of local yarn shops. If, for any reason, we believe that a business partner is not also acting in good faith, we retain the right to revoke buying privileges without warning or recourse. YarnMerchant.com reserves the right to revoke buying privileges without warning or recourse if incorrect or misleading information has been provided on the application. YarnMerchant.com reserves the right to revoke buying privileges without warning or recourse in the event that credit card approvals cannot be obtained for orders. YarnMerchant.com reserves the right to sell to designers and other industry members who do not sell or distribute merchandise within the yarn/knitting/crochet industry. YarnMerchant.com reserves the right to revoke buying privileges without warning or recourse if any of the policies listed above are violated or if any illegal or immoral activities result from the purchase of our merchandise.
